Baked Oats Obsession - Crispy on the outside, Moist and Chewy on the inside.. oh emmm geeez, words cannot describe the level of yumminess!!!! My new favorite healthy and clean dessert for sure! This is a Healthy and Clean version of conventional baked oats - no sugar/ butter/ maple syrup is added (which will normally be added in most recipes you find) Everything natural but taste even yummier. Which is why I love it even more!
Rolled Oats x 2 cups
Raw Coconut Flakes x 1 tbsp
Dried Cranberries x 1 tbsp
Banana x 3
Egg Whites x 2
Baking Powder x 1 tsp
Homemade Almond Milk x 1.5 cups (Recipe at earlier post: http://stayfitandtravel.blogspot.hk/2014/11/homemade-almond-milk.html)
Pink Salt x 1/2 tsp
Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare 2 mixes in 2 separate large bowls.
Dry Mix: Mix Rolled Oats, Raw Coconut Flakes, Dried Cranberries, Baking Powder, Pink Salt together.
Wet Mix: Mash 1 Banana, stir it together with Egg Whites and Homemade Almond Milk until combined. Pour the Wer Mix into the Dry Mix, stir well.
Grease a baking tray with Coconut Oil, then cut up another Banana and arrange the slices in a single layer in the bottom of the baking tray. Pour the mix into the Baking Tray, then cut up another Banana and arrange the slices on the top of the mix.
Bake in oven for 45 minutes until top turns golden and the mix is set... and its done!
You can add Pure Honey on top or eat it with Homemade Ice cream! But for me it is already naturally sweet and yummy enough.
