I would like to share with you my favorite workout gear that I bring to the gym everyday <3
|My Workout Gear|
Gym Clothes: I normally get my gym clothes from Nike and Cotton On – mostly from Cotton On just because it is relatively cheaper and they have amazing designs! I get almost all of my cropped training sports bra sand sports leggings from Cotton On and I love them!
Gym Bag: This is a new gym bag that I just purchased from Nike. I know it is huge haha since I normally go to the gym in the morning before work and I have to bring my work clothes and shoes to change, as well as 3 of my meals to eat at work (I eat the other 2 meals: Breakfast and Dinner mostly at home). As I have stressed over it again and again, meal preparation is the most important part of my fitness journey! Abs are made in the kitchen

Protein Shaker: To answer many of your questions of whether I take supplements: I do drink Whey Protein Isolate after each of Kayla’s resistance training. The brand that I drink is Gold Standard 100% Whey from Optimum Nutrition. My boyfriend has been drinking Whey Protein Supplement way longer than I have and he has tried many of the flavors, he recommended me to try Double Rich Chocolate – and it was a damn good choice. I LOVE IT IT IS SO YUMMY. It has become one of my motivations during each of the workout – to push myself through it so I will deserve a Double Choco Protein Shake afterwards! One thing to bear in mind ** many people I know did get breakouts on their skins after drinking protein shake so they had to stop - I was lucky enough not to have this problem. I would suggest any of you who are thinking about whether to start taking protein shake to do more research on your skin type and also to try it for a week or two first before you buy a whole huge tub of protein powder!

Sometimes if I have time, I would blend the protein powder with fruits/ yogurt/ homemade almond milk (recipe will be posted) to make a yummy protein smoothie for myself. NOM!

As you can see from above, I do eat (and love) Quest Bars ! I eat them when I want to cheat clean ;p and they are also an awesome source of protein (with only less than 2g of sugar per bar). My favorite flavors would be Berry Mix!

To me, I find motivation, determination, drive, dedication and hard work whenever I look around me at the gym and this is the main reason that I prefer doing my workouts tat the gym. And of course, my home does not have many of the equipments that the BBG requires such as benches and weights so I also kind of have to do them at the gym ;p
