Hello and big welcome to my blog! I would love to tell you a bit more about myself here. My name is Emily and many of you might know me as @stayfitandtravel from Instagram.
Born in Canada and grew up in Hong Kong, I am a recent international business graduate in my early 20s, currently working full-time in talent management.
I was known as the typical party girl back in college. I literally drank until I passed out on the floor everyday for almost 3 years and my lifestyle was a mess. I did not give a care about my body. I ate whatever crap I felt like and I rarely went to the gym or did any exercise because most of the time I was hangover. I just wanted to party like there was no tomorrow and back then, that was my idea of living life to the fullest.
By the end of 2013, I had to have a minor operation and after that, I was so weak that I had to be in and out of the hospital every few weeks. It was then that I realized I had hit rock bottom and I need a complete change of my lifestyle. I wanted to feel healthy and strong. And of course, I wanted to be able to not suck in my tummy on the beach for once in my life.

That is how I started my health and fitness journey. It has not been a long time, I am still an amateur in health and fitness but I am learning and growing everyday. Everyday I get a little bit strong and that's all that matters to me. Now I work out 4-5 times a week, I eat very clean and the best thing is, I feel driven, I feel that my life has a purpose, I feel that there are so many goals in my life that I want to achieve.

As you can tell from my blog, I am also a huge foodie and one of my biggest hobbies right now is to try out all kinds of healthy AND delicious recipes to nourish my body. Eating clean is extremely important to my fitness journey - like the saying goes, abs are made in the kitchen! And this is where I would like to introduce my mum, Kitty, who has one of the most amazing cooking skills in the world and many of the recipes you find here are also planned and experimented by her.
Most of the recipes you find here are healthy, yummy and most importantly, simple and easy for you to try out in your own kitchen!
